Three pieces. A purpose for each.

Choose only what your room needs.

Try this first. Empty and sort an existing drawer, remove unused leads and try your current lamp here. Keep the monitor's own adjustable stand if it already gives you a comfortable position. The clearest desk may need fewer things, rather than another organiser.

SoBuy monitor stand with drawers

Two drawers give small essentials a home beneath a screen that needs an 11cm lift. Made from MDF and bamboo.

Check the fit: 47 × 18cm top; SoBuy’s stated maximum load is 10kg. The whole monitor base must fit. Skip it if the fixed rise puts your screen too high.

  • The small white model has an ABS body and wood-effect lid, with three cable openings. The lid is not solid wood.
  • D-Line requires 45% of internal capacity to remain free for air circulation with 240V cables. Measure the block with its plugs and adapters, and keep openings clear.
THE IDEA BEHIND THE EDIT

What makes it work.

Keep the working space clear

The keyboard and mouse have a defined area in front. Small items need a drawer, not a larger collection of desktop organisers.

Position light around the task

An adjustable lamp lets you move the light as the task changes. Check for screen reflections with the monitor switched on.

Make the reset easy

Keep only the leads you use, then give them enough slack to reach their devices. Put small items away where you can find them next time.

MEASURE FIRST

Will it work in your room?

  1. Set the chair and monitor for the person using them before choosing a riser. The illustrated chair is styling, not a recommendation for a full working day.
  2. The SoBuy BBF02-WN has a 47 × 18cm top, an 11cm rise and a manufacturer-stated 10kg maximum load. The whole monitor base must fit and the total supported weight must stay within that limit. This rating does not apply to other stands.
  3. Check the proposed screen height before buying. Leave the riser out if it makes the screen too high, and keep room for the keyboard, mouse and your usual work.
  4. The D-Line small cable box measures 32.5 × 12.5 × 11.5cm and accepts an extension block up to 28cm long. Measure it with plugs and adapters connected, including room for cable bends.
  5. Follow D-Line's instruction to leave 45% of the box's internal capacity free for air circulation with 240V cables. Keep cable openings clear; do not force a crowded setup into the box.

MAKE IT YOURS

A good fit beats a full list.

A drawer stand is useful only if you also need its fixed screen lift. A cable box is optional and must suit the powered equipment inside it.

For a tighter space

Use an existing drawer if a riser crowds the desk. Put a cable box elsewhere only where its instructions allow, with access, airflow and space for your feet preserved.

Comfort, access & trade-offs

Choose controls and drawers you can reach easily. Touch controls will not suit everyone. A fixed screen stand cannot adjust the whole workstation for its user.

When to leave a piece out

Skip the riser if the base overhangs, its load exceeds the rating, or the screen becomes too high. Skip the cable box if plugs or ventilation space do not fit.
