Sort by how clothes are used
Keep frequently worn items between an easy reach and a comfortable bending height. Separate seasonal items. Fold bulky knitwear according to its care guidance instead of forcing it into a small compartment.
Measure the hanging drop
Allow for the rail, the organiser attachment and anything stored below. Check the load guidance for both the organiser and the rail. Do not assume an adjustable rail can carry extra weight.
Choose visible categories
Use one compartment for one category where possible. Small removable boxes can group socks or accessories, but avoid boxes so deep that you have to unpack them to find one item.
