Useful space starts
with useful questions.
Roomys is a new publication for people organising smaller UK homes. We focus on the fit, access and everyday usefulness of storage, rather than the size of a shopping basket.
What our guides do
Each guide explains a practical problem, compares types of solution and gives a measurement-led buying process. Often the first step is rearranging what you own.
How we use sources
Where a guide names a product example, it links to manufacturer information. An example illustrates a format or specification; it is not an award, a claim of superiority or a guarantee of availability.
Testing and independence
These launch guides are editorial research and practical planning guidance, prepared with AI assistance. We have not carried out hands-on product tests. We do not reproduce customer star ratings or invent customer experiences.
Shopping links
Our Amazon UK shopping links are affiliate links, labelled as paid links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. They open individual product listings. Commission does not change the practical selection criteria in our guides.
Publication date
Launch edition: 7 October 2026. Check the exact product specification on the manufacturer and retailer sites before purchasing.

Our room-edit method
We begin with an everyday problem, then consider what can be rearranged or reused. Product suggestions are checked against the exact retailer listing where accessible, with manufacturer information used to clarify fit and limitations. A commission is not evidence that something is useful.
AI-created room concepts
The three shoppable room images are original AI-generated illustrations. They are labelled next to the image. Links offer similar alternatives; finishes, dimensions and construction can differ. These are not completed client projects, customer homes or hands-on product tests.
How we select products
A product must serve the idea, fit the scale of the room and have an identifiable UK listing. We explain material differences and measurements beside each choice. We withdraw recommendations when the fit is weak or key specifications remain unresolved. Retailer breadth and possible commission do not justify a poorer choice.
Product checks
Room-product listings were checked on 7 October 2026. Product notes identify the sources and the details that still need checking. Prices, delivery, selected variants and specifications can change; confirm these with the retailer before ordering. We do not claim hands-on testing.
